So now the screen lights up, the mini stick controls the mouse (pretty neat!) and I head back to Elite to test it out. This allowed me to install the software, and this is where my problems got more annoying. After a bit of a search I found this reddit post: 64 Bit Software for Saitek x52 : hotas () I thought I should see if Logitech has some drivers for it, but the drivers on the website are apparently all 32 bit and will not let me install them. I thought it was a little weird that I couldn't map anything to the mini stick and that the precision slider seemed to only operate either at the bottom or top end, and that the throttle display didn't light up, but the basic functions were working as they should have and I was fine overlooking those things in the beginning. When I first got it, I plugged it in and let Windows assign the drivers, and everything worked fine. I just got the X52 a few days ago (my first HOTAS!) and it's so fun to fly with! Problem is, I keep having issues with the software.
